Coniston Crossing Vin Doux (Port)Dry roasted almonds, black strap molasses, coffee house, Moroccan dates, and a beautiful amount of fresh pomegranate. The entry has a pleasant sweetness which is balanced by peach fuzz tannins. This tawny style glass pairs perfectly with hard goat and sheep cheeses.
2020 Blanc de Noir
On the nose, lemon pith, golden russet apple, kumquat, sea breeze, and dried apricots. This wine has a lovely tight bead and has a rich and creamy mouthfeel with notes of vanilla wafer and cashew nut. The palate is very flashy and up front, while maintaining freshness and is an overall pleasing example of a blanc de noir.
